MONROVIA, California – February 19, 2013 – Tanner EDA, the catalyst for innovation for the design, layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal (A/MS) integrated circuits (ICs), has appointed electronic design automation (EDA) sales professional Jeff Thayer as Director for International Sales.
“Demand for Tanner EDA’s full-flow design suite for analog and mixed-signal IC design has been growing worldwide,” said Greg Lebsack, president of Tanner EDA. “Jeff’s experience selling and managing sales teams for product lines that span front-end to back-end IC design couldn’t be a more perfect fit. We look forward to Jeff continuing to expand our global customer base.”
Jeff Thayer has been managing sales strategies and sales departments for EDA and high-technology companies since 1992, most recently with Sigrity, which was purchased by Cadence in 2012. Prior to Sigrity, he held senior sales executive positions at Silicon Canvas, Tera Systems, CoWare, and Avant! In 1992, Thayer founded NuCAD Systems, a value-added reseller in Colorado Springs, where he served as president until 1997.
“I have always enjoyed building relationships with business executives looking to solve complex problems,” said Jeff Thayer. “Tanner EDA has an excellent reputation for products and service as well as an excellent distributor network worldwide. I look forward to working with the Tanner EDA sales team and their customer base.”
