Rohde & Schwarz at MWC 2011: Testing of LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation scenarios

Rohde & Schwarz demonstrated carrier aggregation scenarios with realtime analysis for LTE-Advanced at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona. LTE-Advanced, the next evolutionary step of LTE, is specified in 3GPP Release 10 and beyond. LTE-Advanced includes carrier aggregation scenarios up to 100 MHz which can be generated with the R&S®SMU200A vector signal generator. Equipped with realtime functionality, the R&S®FSVR realtime spectrum analyzer not only demodulates LTE and LTE-Advanced signals, but also enables reliable detection of pulsed CW interferers.
